A Scam by any other name is still A SCAM!

A scam is a scam, it does not matter how much the creators of the scam attempt to make it legitimate.  Unfortunately as always there are people who can't see past the free dollar signs in their eyes.

Payboxme is a scam period.  Why else would they be trying to look identical to an established legitimate payment processor called Paybox.  they have gone so far as using an identical logo with a different color scheme.  So they are using a fig leaf to disguise the scam, in this case 'copycatting' a legitimate site.

I wrote a blog on 2.0 about these fig leaves and I see the fig leaf approach still works.  Sadly the majority are falling for the fig leaf.  Let me tell all of you why that fig leaf is there.  To con gullible people into joining this site.  And people are joining.  Just like with any scam, there are those who see this for what it is.  And just like with any scam the marks defend it.

Well the day will come when this one hits somebody's radar.  The way it's being promoted hopefully it will be soon.  When it hits the radar I can guarantee that you will not be able to find those behind it.  You can't find them now.

Try asking yourself a few questions here:

Why is there not an actual corporate site for the scheme?
I have hunted and hunted and not yet found anything except referrals links boasting that you can get $50 free for signing up.

Why is this site so closely tailored to looking like and imitating an existing legitimate site?
Interestingly enough when you search for a corporate site for the scam, you find the legitimate site and they are two different things.

Why is this not endorsed or promoted by the legitimate site?
If you look at the partner programs you see nothing at all about this scam.

Why is the $50 not actual real legal tender?
What exactly can you spend that Monopoly money on, a hotel for Boardwalk because you certainly cannot spend it in the real world.  Your paybox dollars are worth zero-nada-nothing-zip.  Nothing times fifty equals ZERO so guess what you actually have when they give you that fifty bucks.  That's right! Nothing!

I will only say that I sincerely hope the authorities catch this one before too many people get hurt by it.
