TeamWork Revolution - finally I'm repaying my family's faith in me!
Hi there, I'm Russ! I'm a 28 year old Fitness Instructor and fulltime Dad from Newcastle in the UK.
A few months back, my job hours became a little unsteady and unreliable so I started looking online for possible ways to make money. It was quite hard at first, because everywhere said you'd be a millionaire, etc, blatant scams.
I found out about Global Domains International through a friend of mine who used them and made money. Their videos looked great - 'easy money'. Anyway, I found it incredibly hard to market. There was simply too much competition out there for me! I was a total newbie, I did not know what I was doing really, so I ended up making nothing and cancelling my account then looking for someone who would be able to help me promote. I don't know if you've ever searched GDI on YouTube... But it is FULL of people saying how they all make thousands and will teach you how to 'explode your downline, on auto-pilot', etc. So like a newbie I fell for that and joined under someone only to find that they did NOT give me any help or support and did NOT 'explode' my downline at all. In fact they helped get me zero signups. I left GDI again. I was so frustrated because the GDI opportunity was great and it was right there, I just couldn't use it!
I decided to look for an honest way to market GDI - everybody seems to be adopting the approach of lying and saying they're earning loads just to get people to misleadingly join under them. If all these people were really earning thousands per month there wouldn't be a 97% failure rate in MLM, right?
My girlfriend was telling me I was wasting my time. It was a genuine opportunity, but it was so hard to convince people it's not a scam that it might as well BE a scam...
Family life was hard and I felt like I was beginning to fail at this.
I came across James Al-Oboudi on YouTube, he was world number 2 in GDI at the time. His vid struck me as honest and upfront. He said things like 'Join with me and I will show you how to do this the way I have success with it' as opposed to the normal 'join me and i will do all the work for you on auto-pilot.'
I opened a new GDI account (not under James, just with his inspiration) and decided I was gonna work at this long-term and I was gonna do it MY way. I wasn't gonna tell people I was making loads or whatever, I didn't actually want to be anything like the guys who had convinced me to signup under them because I didn't have much respect for them.
Two months later, I had my GDI beyond the stage where it was breaking even and it felt good to be making a little money doing things MY OWN WAY. The guys under me knew that while I wasn't a billionaire, I was genuine and would support them 24/7. Then my partner pointed out that in two months all I had really done was make a couple of dollars... LOL.
I saw James was launching his own system, TeamWork Revolution and decided to give it a try. I got into the company pre-launch and was thrilled to not only be working with somebody who I had admired from afar for a whlie now, but also because I knew I was actually going into a system which he had built to suit the members rather than the company. When I was looking for a system to use in the beginning, and I found GDI, what I was really craving was something like TeamWork Revolution, I just did not know it yet.
My girlfriend didn't think TWR would be the real deal, she thought it looked just like GDI.
I on the other hand could notice the small differences that made it work better, such as the forced matrix, the double payout on level one, the fact it went SIX levels deep instead of five and also paid you double on that sixth level... The fact I was able to speak to the owners every day if I wanted to... I was excited about this one.
The thing that was the most use to me was their actual product. GDI gave me a .ws domain name.... errr, nice. I didn't want a website. I was blatantly JUST using GDI for their moneymaking opportunity, like most guys out there.
TWR offered a product in the shape of direct training in online marketing from James Al-Oboudi himself! I knew James was the best at this kind of stuff because I'd saw him back in his GDI days. It took me three attemps and quite a few months just to break even in GDI. By the end of my FIRST month in TeamWork Revolution I had not only broken even but I was in profit. LOL.
My girlfriend was still not too excited, thinking I was wasting my time and that it would not progress any further than that.
I started using the TWR training for my second month. The marketing guide from James which showed me his own strategies in free advertising that he used to reach the top in GDI, speaking with James 1-1 on Skype and in the TWR forums almost every day as well as the other co-founders of TWR.
My second month saw our team grow and grow! By the end of my second month I had not only retained the team I had set up from the month prior, I had grown it severely and I had now quadrupled my money!
Finally, my family were starting to see that it can really be done. I got myself a website (http://www.teamworkrevolution.org/) and devoted it to our TWR team, focussing on the fact that we are REAL people not 'internet gurus' and showing proof of the fact we're near the very top of this entire business and how much I have earned. People seemed to love the fact we were being honest & I managed to bring in a couple of top, top marketers from GDI to work as part of our team.
All this whilst still being a fulltime Dad and working in the gym.
By this time, my hours in the gym had drastically rose to around 40 per week. And I was fitting all of this into my spare time once my son and my girlfriend had gone to bed or on a morning before I left for work...
To see if James' strategies in the TWR training could indeed work for ANY business, I began applying them to my old GDI account (remember that, LOL) and in two months I saw my GDI downline multiply in size by nine. Seriously, it was NINE times bigger. What's more, because of the honest way I market the guys in my GDI downline also wanted into TeamWork Revolution with us because they knew I was not some scammer or a liar and that I would back up everything I was saying to them.
Because of this, I received a great cheque this month! Finally, all my work is paying off! Some of my guys in GDI made it onto the leaderboards this month which was great for me to see as it made me feel very very proud. My girlfriend (now my fiance seeing as I was able to afford to buy a ring, yesssss) is now fully convinced this works and very proud I've made it work despite everybody in my family, my friends, hell everybody I know, saying I could not do it.
