Why Traffic Exchanges work for me

Traffic exchanges are a very cost effective way of advertising when you understand the medium and how to make it work.

The first thing you need to understand is the market.  The market is full of one thing.  Marketers looking to advertise their business,  so their is no point selling a business opportunity - not up front.

You need to put yourself in the mind of the Traffic Exchange user - what do they want - more traffic, more sign ups, an easier way of doing things, advertising and related products.

So you give them what they want - you advertise a simple splash page offering, more traffic, more sign ups, a better method, help, whatever and have that page direct to a squeeze page explaining more but offering even more if the prospect subscribes to your  offer.

When they subscribe you give them the information they want and then regularly follow up via autoresponder with helpful tips, useful software and the occasional product offer.  Only by building trust can you hope to sell products.

This method works - it has worked for me for four years- and I have some grateful and loyal subscribers who buy upon my recommendation.

This is what you need to if you are going to use Traffic Exchanges

Of course once you know that you're on a good thing, purchasing some advertising credits is a much more economical way of doing business then using Google Adsense for example.

It takes time, it takes persistence, but it does work
