I’m sure most of you have seen a lot of “Google Top-10over night” claims on the web. I myself is sick and tired of this as I know by years of experience that, achieving success throughsearch engine optimization is highly dependent on a wide range of factors.

If an Internet marketing consultant tells you otherwise, it is highly likely that they use unethical methods. Some methods will work for your website and some will not. Top search ranking doesn’t happen overnight, not even with a perfectly optimized website. But it could happen sooner than many experts believe.

Now, lets go on with “The way to successful SEO” part 3.

Target your audience:
Do your research well and decide which audience your website is aimed for, before any content is written. Then you start to write, set up internal linking and Meta tags, always
bare in mind the audience you are addressing.

Well-written content:
Should not be underestimated. It is obvious that well-written, straight to the point content is what the search engines wants. Your visitors want the same!

Natural placement of keywords:
Don’t try to stuff your content with “super keywords” in an unnatural way. Your readers and also the search engines will look though any attempt to overdo keyword optimization. Instead, let your keywords blend in naturally.

Relevant URL’s:
Think trough carefully which file names your page URL’s should have and include
the keywords that you optimized for that page. For example, instead of “.net/traffic”use“.net/traffic-generating-tecniques”.Page titles should be limited to relevant keywords separated by hyphens.
