How career minded are we REALLY?

We tell ourselves that we are serious about making a success of our home business opportunity. We spend hours searching for the latest marketing trick to attract visitors to our website. We convince ourselves that if we had enough leads and enough prospects that we would succeed in generating customers or distributors or affiliates for our business.

We tell ourselves that if we could generate enough income then we would become full time networkers. We would then belong to the professional networker elite.

Now correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't a successful career start with a good education and apprenticeship in most walks of life?

And we all reply yes, of course. But where can you find a good education in networking? Sure, there are plenty of offers out there for professional coaching & training programs, but they cost an arm and a leg. And at the end of the day what did we really learn? So there are plenty of excuses (sorry, reasons) why a good education is just outside our reach.

So the question I am asking myself is "How career minded are we really?". I mean, would we really be prepared to educate ourselves if the equivalent of a university education for networkers was there for the taking?

Let me make this question really easy:

"If there was a university offering free education to students who wanted to educate themselves and graduate as professional networkers, would you follow such an education?"

Think about it and let me have your comments (and TOP'ings).

By now you should be discovering just how career minded you REALLY are... :-)

Share one thing that a good education will do for me:

To begin with you will never advertise your business (affiliate) link ever again! It took me a long time to learn this one simple lesson. Well, there is such a thing as "the exception to the rule" and "never say never". So I guess that I will treat my own advice flexibly in the years to come :-).

Try out my ads and links on this web page and you will understand what I mean.

You will learn to appreciate the importance of promoting yourself and your team first, and only then introducing your business. It's basic human psychology. We are social beings and we choose to do business with people we enjoy spending time with.

So you build the personal relationship first and foremost. The business relationship will follow in due course.

Do I "walk the talk" here at Apsense?

Well, I do my best.

If you enjoy what I write here, then you will probably read some of my other blogs, or click on my ads on this page, or visit my profile and take a closer look at my business center.

You may even decide to drop me a line and introduce yourself and who knows where we will go from there... provided you don't start by shoving your business down my throat :-)
