Housework Horror
Well, it's another fairly hot day here in Melbourne, Australia, and the weather bureau
has forecast 30C, with tomorrow 41 and Friday 40C. A long hot and dry summer
here, that's for sure.
So what do I do? Decide to wash all the curtains and clean the venetial blinds, as
well as the normal housework. Am I crazy, or what? No, don't answer that.
The cat took off and hid under some bushes in the garden. Can't say I blame her
for that, and she hates the sound of the vacuum cleaner.
One good thing about today though - I discovered that the upholstery brush on
the vacuum cleans the blinds a lot faster than doing it by hand. Maybe not so
well, but who cares, so long as it gets done.
Perspiration dripping off me, I decided to take a break on my beloved PC, before
finishing the lounge, and rehanging the curtains.
Then I decided to check and see if the upholster brush would do the normal
dusting as well. It does, so that's another job made easier in the future.
Wonder why I never thought of trying it before, instead of wet dusting or using
a feather duster all the time.........
I still hate housework, and the curtains are still waiting to be hung, with a few
more still on the clothes line drying. Who cares? I'm in here playing with my
PC and the housework can go jump - I've done enough today!
