Is so much information out there on "search engine optimization" for
Google Adsense any good, it's actually very confusing at the best of
times. Some of us that are not (SEO Pro's), look for some new way to
make sense of all this SEO Optimization talk. We buy software, ebooks,
go and read articles. And in some cases we even pay to have our sites
optimized. Many advertisers say that they'll optimize your site to be
displayed in the top 10 search engines. But as expected, they fail to
tell you which engines until after you sign-up. And then find yourself
optimized for some unknown search engine that gets you about zero
traffic coming in. Sound familiar? Yes, we all want to work at home and
make some money so we buy and buy and buy like a stupid fool.
I went through all of that myself. Then I started analyzing what it
all boils down too. There are some steps, and if you read carefully -
Google tells you exactly what they are. But we do NOT read them because
were to busy reading the "Guru eBooks" instead, that we paid some heavy
dollars for - so we could learn the "secret" from them, rather than
Google.
What I learned was this, you simply do certain things that are not
to difficult. First - select your business. This requires doing keyword
research to find a topic that you feel you can compete in. Do not try
to compete with the big guns on th internet. This usually results in
you selecting keywords, that are a phrase of three or more words. Then
you need to find out how much competition they have, which is going to
be huge. There are many free tools to help you do this though. Plus,
the Gurus will try to sell you the one's that are different and new.
Which have never been seen before, and if you believe that, your a
bigger fool that you thought you was.
On the topic of keyword programs though - like most programs, they
have an upgrade where you can search thousands of keywords. You don't
need thousands though, just about three phrases will do and you can do
this with a free version. So don't pay for a keyword program.
So my advise is; first find your Adsense topic to cover and
potential keywords to use. The next, find out if Google will send you
any ads for people to click on. That are related to the subjects you
cover.
