How much is your time worth?
I've been seeing a lot of ads and forum posts, and even gotten a few emails from friends and others trying to get me to sign up for different paid to read email.paid to click, pay to network sites. I'll admit that I have signed up for a few. I mean after all, who wouldn't want to get rich just by checking a few emails?
I signed up for Yuwie and Rotatrix both to help a friend out, give them a referral. I figured I could use them for networking and promoting my own business, and at the same time help out the friend. I'm sorry. I really don't see this as a way to make money. I have no interest in sitting on the computer ALL day. I mean, I am on here several hours a day as it is, with running two online businesses of my own, and helping my husband with stuff for his side business. Some of my upline on Yuwie got a little "lippy" in some emails because I am not putting out enough page views. Hello, I had over 500 the first month and earned a total of .03. How long are you on there to earn enough to pay the light bill??? Another person on there was excited because she had earned $2.35 the next month. She keeps saying "I see the potential!!" What potential? Carpal Tunnel and a numb ass? And to top it off, I was "reprimanded" for promoting anything other than Yuwie on the site. Does it really make sense to promote Yuwie to people that have already signed up?
Not to knock just those things as money earners. Does ANYONE REALLY earn a living with paid to click programs? I'm assuming the real money is in signing up hundreds of people, and convincing them to click more.
Another friend convinced me to sign up with a paid survey site, cashcrate. I got $5 for signing up, but can't get that until I reach a certain level. The surveys that didn't require you to use a credit card all paid around a dollar, give or take a few cents. I did one, and it took me about 15 minutes to complete it, because it kept taking me from one thing to the next (btw, it really isn't a survey, it's an OFFER people!!) I figure, at 15 minutes a survey, I can do 4 in an hour, and my time is worth WAY more than $4 an hour. How much is your time worth?
