Solar Power and the Reduction of US need for Foreign Oil

The US is too dependent on foreign oil.  OK that is not real news.  Did you know that adding solar power to your rooftop can reduce your homes carbon footprint by tons?  Solar power is not just for hippies anymore.  We all need to be considering how we can use the sun to power our lives.  Purchasing solar power can be expensive but the government will give 40% back on your investment.  The power companies are doing more and more to increase awareness and hopefully increase usage of solar power systems.  Some companies are beginning the process of renting systems with guaranteed prices for up to 25 years.

What ever your preference it's time we all start to consider reduction of our dependence on foreign oil.  If not for ourselves for our children and grandchildren.
