Speaking of really long hair

The world's longest documented hair belongs to Xie Qiuping (China) at 5.627 m (18 ft 5.54 in) when measured on May 8, 2004. She has been growing her hair since 1973 from the age of 13. (See first picture of the lady sitting on the ground)

This is me in 1996 with my boys at Indian Mounds in Georgia.  My father never wanted me to cut my hair, though..I finally did.  It was a lot of work and time to keep it groomed..lol  That's not me in the picture below..lol.  Okay!  ha..ha.  Nor the pic of the lady sitting on the ground, please see references.

I remember when long hair or really big afros were really popular.  I hardly see really long hair or big doos anymore.  Wonder if the fad will come back again.  I love long hair.  It does not look right on everybody though..for example,
