I'm not sure how I got so hooked on American Idol, but I love it.
I have not missed but one or two nights, since the shows first season on July 11,2002.

The Auditions have ended now, and the top 24 selected.

Last week, 4 went home.

The seventh season of American Idol will premiered on January 15, 2008

Simon is back! There was speculation, and he had personally said last season, that he would not be back.  I'm so happy that he is on Season 7. Ofcourse, he would make me cry...if I were being judged by him..lol, but ..must say ..he has his own place on the show, and keeps us American Idol fans all watching week after week.

My kids and I are ready to voice our opinions, and compete on our voting once again.
It has become a family affiair for us!

Apsense/American Idols Fans, let's get ready for some fun discussion!  The entire process of seeing raw talent tranformed to stardom is so neat to me.  The relationship between the three judges, Randy, and espescially Paula and Simon.  Simons blunt and straight forwardness not only in his opinion but his personal taste.  Also, seeing the contestants that don't make it to the top 10, but do make their way into the music industry.  Sometimes, almost or as big as the idol themselves.

Let's start out by telling everyone who your favorite American Idol has been so far.
What about your favorite runner ups?

I have too many favorites..lol.  It't hard to choose.  I did love the upbeat song Katherine did, I think the title was, "Your Not the One for me".  Also, her rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow.  I loved Taylor Hicks jazzy style.  I loved Fantasias' Jazz song (can't remember the name) where she set down on the stage to perform.  She even blew Simon's socks off that time.  Who could forget the fantastic performance of Bo Bice singing without music.  Wow!How about Simon planting a kiss on Paula?

My favorites so far have been Chikeze, Carly & Syesha. (hope I'm spelling the names right...lol)
