Are You An Active Group Administrator?

I went looking at alot of groups today, because of reading about concerns of low activity and membership. What I found probably won't surprise anyone. The groups that had members participating had administrators that were participating also. The part that I found interesting was that there were actually members in some of these non active groups, doing their best to get a response. They had joined a group of their interest only to find out there was no leadership for that group. My suggestion to them is to start your own group on the topic...and let your passion shine through. You are bound to be a success. For group administrators, it is so important that you and your co-admins keep up to date on your groups. If members come and see an abandoned group taken over by advertisers, your group membership may go up, but your content quality will go down.
