Putting it All Together

Some say they just can't write.

Nothing comes to mind.

The words don't flow, ect.

I am going to share with you what works for me

when it comes to writing. Perhaps it may

be of help to you. Just keep in mind that my

methods work for me.

I always write out everything in long hand. I know

that sounds silly to some but since I am a hunt and pecker

when it comes to typing this way works best for me.

Since my thoughts usually come out faster than I can write,

I always have plenty of paper on hand to start new topics or subjects on.

When I get done brainstorming I gather the different papers with

ideas on them to be put into the post I am working on. The others

that were a bit off topic or subject I will save for another day.

Now at this point I usually have 10-20 different pieces of paper. I'll put

them in some kind of order so that I can see the article flowing.

Then I get out my tape and my scissors, I know I am sure that

seems crazy to most of you but it works for me. I usually just have to add

a few sentences or words to be able to join all of these thoughts together.

And yes I have a BIG and LONG piece of paper with many pieces of tape

to hold it all together.

Can you just visualize this?

Next I take this to Outlook and start typing, or in my case hunting and pecking.

I do a spell check.

Bold the words I want bolded.

Put in the hyper-links.

And that is how I write.

How do you do it?
