WIN TICKETS TO SEE 'ARCTIC TALE'
DEAR FRIENDS OF RADIO"
Dear Marilyn,
Majestic and iconic, polar bears nonetheless face grave threats from global warming and from trophy hunting. That's why I'm excited to tell you about a new film and offer you the chance to win a pair of tickets to see it.
"Arctic Tale," a new film from Paramount Classics and National Geographic Films, is part narrative, part epic animal adventure. The movie follows a polar bear cub, Nanu, and a walrus calf, Seela, as they struggle to survive in the face of changing climate and shrinking habitat. It's a movie with plenty of "awww" factor in the form of baby animals, as well as wondrous scenes of the Arctic.
And because viewers will quickly feel a personal connection to Nanu, Seela, and their families, anyone who sees this film is sure to understand why polar bears must be protected from trophy hunting!
Watch our exclusive interview with director Sarah Robertson, who spent years getting up close and personal with the Arctic's animals -- and get a sneak peek at scenes from the movie.
Enter to win one of 100 pairs of tickets to see "Arctic Tale" at a theater near you when the film opens nationwide on August 17. This is an exclusive offer for HSUS supporters and website visitors! Enter by noon on Monday, August 6, to be entered into a drawing. Winners will be sent a pass redeemable for two theater tickets.
I hope you have an opportunity to experience Arctic Tale, and to join us in our effort to protect polar bears.
