Baratang Island - North Andaman Andaman

Located between the Andaman Islands of the Middle and South, the island of Baratang has been named after the number of mud volcanoes found here. These volcanoes spew gases and mud. Apart from these volcanoes, Baratang also has a number of beaches and limestone caves and makes for a great tourist spot. The most famous beach on this island is Baludera beach. One will also find the Tota Tekri located here and surrounded by thick mangroves, which houses a number of parrots during sunset.
