More Ideas on great ways to drive traffic

If you are on a budget, or even if you're not, there's not many better ways to get a flood of traffic to your website than by writing articles. Not only that but by submitting articles to article directories you will have a lot of links pointing to your website over time, which will help you achieve higher search engine rankings.

This is a major reason why you should have your own website or blog that reviews and / or promotes your network marketing programs, rather than just relying on promoting your MLM affiliate link only.


Let me explain how it works. First when you write an article, you can include a resource box at the bottom of the article which tells the reader about yourself, and can also include a link to your website. Now when you submit articles to the numerous article directories, you will get readers reading your article directly which will deliver some traffic, but article directories are also where ezine publishers go to find articles to include in their ezines. So if you have an article picked up which runs in their ezine your article could be read by many thousands of people, depending on the circulation of the ezine, resulting in many of them clicking on the link to your site that you have included in the resource box.

Now already I can hear people saying out loud “Yes but I'm not a writer”. Let me tell you you don't need to be an outstanding writer to write good articles, you just need to be able to write basic English, that's formatted and spelled correctly. It could be just a list, for example, “10 Ways To Promote Network Marketing Programs”. You only need to write a few sentences for each point, and you instantly have your first article written.

You may be put off from writing articles relating to network marketing programs because you may feel you don't have the required knowledge to write about them. Well don't be. You don't need to reinvent the wheel here. Just go to the big two article directories, Ezinearticles and Goarticles, and look at the thousands of articles that have already been written. Choose a topic or a popular article that has been viewed many hundreds of times, and then simply rework it completely and put it into your own words. You can do a search on Google or Yahoo for anything related to MLM or network marketing, and find hundreds of different topics you can write an article about.

As regards promoting your individual program, most article directories no longer accept affiliate links either in the body or in the resource box. This isn't a problem, however, because you can either include a link to your website or blog which promotes your program, or you can create a page on your site, or maybe just purchase a domain name at somewhere like GoDaddy which you can set to automatically redirect to your own individual affiliate link.

When writing your articles try and make them as good as possible, so they will be picked up by as many ezine publishers and websites as possible, for maximum exposure. You should spend a little time creating a compelling title. You should also make as many people click on your link in your resource box as possible. So if, for example, you decide to join my AutomaticBuilder team and choose to write articles to promote the program and grow your downline, you could write a sentence or two about yourself, before writing something like “To find out which network marketing program I am currently promoting click here”, where you would then place your link which leads to your AutomaticBuilder review page, or your redirect page leading to your affiliate link.

Just get your articles out there. The more articles you write the more exposure your resource box will get, and therefore the more traffic you will receive. You will also be branding yourself as an expert in the process, meaning more people will be inclined to sign up to your program under you if they trust and respect you, particularly if you offer to help them build their own downline as well by passing on the information you will learn in this course.


I want to finish this section by showing you the exact system I use to get the maximum exposure for my articles:


When you write an article put it on your website first of all. This ensures that the search engines will credit you for adding fresh content to your site. Over time you will be rewarded for regularly adding fresh content with higher search engine rankings.

At least a week later submit it to as many article directories as possible. This gives the search engines plenty of time to spider your site and credit you for being the original publisher of the article. You can do this manually, but I recommend a service called Article Marketer. You just submit your article to them, they check it within two days, and then they submit it automatically to as many as 40,000+ publishers. If you can't afford Article Marketer, then just focus on the big two, Ezinearticles and Goarticles, because these receive the most traffic, and are used a lot by ezine publishers. Alternatively you can find a large number of article directories here.

Finally submit your article directly to ezine publishers and related websites that accept article submissions. Rather than rely on luck that ezine publishers stumble across your article, you want to put it right in front of them. Just make sure they accept article submissions otherwise they may start accusing you of spamming them.
