Demand for a college education has increased partly because graduating college dramatically increases job prospects and partly because of government subsidies.

"Education is expensive" is somewhat wrong term, the money that we will spent on education is just a investment. what we have get from our education is a return which will useful for our future. Education is not only useful for present but also for a future point of view.

Assignment Inn, the problem that I see is when college students all finished they are having a hard time finding a job! Top that off with all the money they have to pay back.

Panda, you are right...that is why less than 15% make any money online and why less than 2% on Apsense make money because they don't want to write articles etc...

My business is people. Getting them make money as a home based business and it is one of the hardest task in the world now. People are more so to believe in magic now than they did 5 years ago...thanks for you your great shares!

Panda, I do agree that lazy is a welcomed disease but I think the problem isn't the work ethic so much as it is the system...the system of taking a bunch of useless classes that will never help them. That is crazy!

I had self made mentors throughout my life and if they were running a hundred miles an hour day one I had to do that as well. At 8 years old or so I was given an oversized dufflebag with dollar store items before dollar store existed and told to sell it! No instructions or wasted tim

Oswald Rodrigues, good to see you! Now Panda is of the elite in education but for the most part getting a $40-80k a year job while $150K-1million in debt is crazy to me. I probably tip or give away what they make! That makes no sense.

Panda, Jeb Bush I have no problem with he has good sense and tries...but the whole system needs a good cleansing. No matter who get's in they will do something stupid as it stands because of what's behind the closed door.

The only reason education doesn't work for most is because they are too LAZY!

Education is not only expensive but there's no money-back guarantee either. If there was one, I'm sure everyone would have demanded a refund.

Exactly Panda! That's you are my favorite Panda! K-12 is free then bam, the cut throats shaft kids for the 30 year debt...3 things will happen in life now: 1. Death 2. Taxes 3. Student Loans.

In my mind the cure for cancer maybe with the kid who couldn't afford to go to school. I have seen more you ladies and men waiting tables with no hope because of finances. Thanks.

Cindy Zhang, now keep in mind I'm not debating the importance of education just the expense. I have family and friends around me that have went to the best Universities in the world but my income is greater. In fact many of them are still paying their student loans 15 years later. Are they smarter that me, yep but they often ask me about things which makes me wonder....
