I see a lot of advertisements for "Rosetta Stone." However, I personally feel that the best way to learn a language is to live among the people.

Through the medium of listening and writing, one can improve to learn a language.

Learn the basics, then practice by reading books, listening to native speakers videos, writing easy tasks, doing online exercises. Practise with native speakers or any other people speaking that language whenever you can.

The best method I experienced in learning a language is living in the country of the language concerned. There you are forced to use it.
But you can simulate such a situation: listening to the radio (without trying to understand every single word - more as a background noise), watching TV in the language you want to learn, reading Newspapers and Magazines in that language, and buying a language course - DVDs. And always have a dictionary with you.

There are different ways to learn a language. Which method to adopt, depends upon your way of living, your daily routine and occupation. If you are always on the move, then best way to learn a language is online. But if you have a fixed routine and settled life then it is best to find a tutor.

To learn any language must know at least 350 words, including 55 of the verbs that are used every day and try to repetition.

Go and live in the country! No better way to learn a language than by being immersed in it and having to use it to survive. :)
