Win 7 is nice, but if you need to "get under the hood" of your computer - there is no replacement for Linux

I used win 8 for few days. But still it can not cross win 7. so i have returned back to win win 7.

In my personal opinion Windows 7 is best it is better than win8. its easy you use and simple.

No; really, Windows XP ... but just because it's like the ONLY OS I've ever really used. Really-really, whatever 'floats your boat' (i.e. makes your machine do the stuff that gets you paid faster)

In my experience Windows 7 is the best after Windows XP.

windows 8 is the best OS of 2013. and i am using it....

I've used ALL versions of Windows and Windows 7 is the most stable. But the Best OS is still Linux.

I have upgraded my pc to windows 8 and it seems that i have paid $ 70 just to change the look of my start menu, nothing great in it,

Stay with windows 7 its fast and reliable and uses less graphic memory to work

Since you specifically said 2013, I think it's Linux and more importantly, Android (which is a particular distribution of Linux). It is quickly gaining on everything else out there, including Windows.

All it depends if you have a concern with being tracked and hacked. Many internet users are switching over to the Linux O/s and it's Free.

Still using windows 7 here. Though the switch to Windows 8 is tempting
