Quality of course is more desirable in any given field. You always want quality stuff, except for one "thing" that you want to put in your pocket. you always want quantity. isn't that right? :)

Yes, quality is important to get regular and loyal visitors to our website or blog.

Quantity is also important because if we do not have content to browse or explore then our visitor may not visit our blog or site again and again. they want to see new content every time they visit our blog or site.

I think these days according to Google quality is more important than quantity ......

I agree with @ yogesh. Both are important. Most of the article website swon't accept the content that is below in some limit of words (300 - 400) whether the content may be high valued also.

quantity (traffic) helps us to get listed in Searches that mean better chances of ad clicks because people are searching content and our sites or blogs shows relevant ads to our post.

In first place quality, then quantity ... Quality means targeted, quantity means money ... Do not put quantity in first place, because this can mean loss of money and time.

My personal view is quality is always better than quantity. But the opinion may vary from person to person
