What happens to the soul after it leaves the body?

It rejoins the greater soul and waits to be get to work again. :)

I think the Soul does not take birth nor does it die. The Soul is a permanent entity. This phenomenon of taking birth and dying is of the ego. It is the ego that is born and the ego that dies. In reality, the Soul does not die at all.

the soul of the righteous goes to rest waiting for the rapture while that of the unrighteous goes to start suffering.

I believe the body goes into the presence of God who will determine the destination of each person.

Paul in his writings says that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Our Saints says that our soul go to world of GOD & get result of activity which that soul have done on the earth, either good or bed.

When the soul left the body it go to another world where are all people dead it can be happy or no following the person how is in this world.
Like we are sleeping and dreaming can be nice dream or bad dream but people's dead never wake up but others people no yet their time for left this world they wake up.

Life is not always easy. Everyone one day when the other is at the lowest. But even so, life is not a punishment. The fate you have in life was not predestined as a punishment for past lives. That's not how it works.

No time at all. As it is leaving one body, it is also simultaneously present in another womb. After death another womb is acquired and upon entering that womb, all the nourishment and everything necessary for its life there is immediately provided for.

It is being Said that After Death, the soul remains in the middle state for few days on earth, the speed of this energy i.e. soul is said to 100 times slower than the speed of our body!!
