In my opinion there is really no need for this daily task. Some people will write one just for credits or to have their face on an other members profile. Such endorsements have little value to me. I only write them when I can really endorse a person, product or service. I keep a list of people I WANT to write an endorsement for. I pull from there when there happens to be a daily task for that. But in many cases I do not wait for a daily task but write one spontaneously.

On the flip side, I would never request a recomendation with expecting - even WANTING - you to visit my site, profile, FB page & Group, etc... What is the point of your recommendation if it is not sincere? By the same token, What is the point of my request if it isn't to drive traffic & network & socialize? I so appreciate those who's comments have stated they would not endorse those they do not know, but I would ask for an honest endorsement by getting to know me... :) Best Successes, Paige

Teo, I like it, and the fact that some people don't use it seriously means they are hurting their brand and their business, but serious marketers can take advantage of it

This feature should be removed from Apsense. I will suggest to the owner to do it. It is strange that people whom I just met on Apsense find this button and push it without even talk to me or know me a bit.

Writer and Blogger.

Fake accounts have been popping on APSense it is about time Admins checks into these. One time someone sends me a PM message here telling me craps of interests me and that I should contact her.

I have been getting these types from friends and I thought they are my friends ho needs. Anyway, I don't give recommendations base on that.

Caution to all as you take note of the following:

1. Pay attention to all those who add you to their contacts.
2. Be careful of sharing your contacts information.(

I don't let that stop me, Paula. I have written some recommendations to people, and I started by saying I didn't know the program and I then explained why I recommended contacting the person. Of course, if the Experience/Resource is a known doubtul thing, I wouldn't write the recommendation.

What I miss in the endorsements here on APSense is that you can only endorse a resource or an experience. There are persons on APSense I would endorse for their contributions here on APSense but than sometimes I see the programs they are in and which I can not endorse at all

Endorse that person if you think that his/her business is paying..proof of payment is advantages but not edited proof..

As long as you're promoting a legitimate / legal product and/or service, I will endorse you; but remember, this is indeed a two-way street...

Lots of people ask for recommendation to get their daily mission scores, so just ignore it.

I would like to say something about that question too. I got a looot of requests ( I still do)
But sorry I cant do that. An endorsment I wrote mean something. I must know something about that person, I must know his/hers work and then and only then I can write something good for both of us.

Why do others in Apsense ask for recommendations when you don't them? I can't endorse anyone unless I know something about them or have chatted with them. Just doing it arbitrarily doesn't speak to the character of that person asking. I can't compromise my integrity to lie online about someone I don't know.

Agree ya;ll.I cannot recommend anyone or anything that I am not fully aware of.My recommendation is like my "word" on something; and my "word: is sacred and solemn. And is given with truth and integrity.
