its all about behalf of marline ,Sorry to tell you but there is no place that I know of online that you can get a free domain name from. There are a few free hosting sites but remember you get what you pay for so anything free is not going to be very good. You can get very cheap hosting ($3.00 a month small site/blog) with me and a domain name ($9 for a year) for only. just contact me here on ApSense and I will get back to you.

You can get a free domain name but that will not be anything good as a dot com name and if you really mean business you should get a good dot com domain name which brings more points of recognition to your site rather than any other one but you can also go with other ones the dot ws names are also going good because of having a good affiliate program with them but they have a monthly subscription cost...for which many people underestimate the program which is running good for more than ten years

I agree with Sridhar and Oswald. If you are so broke you can't afford $130 a year ( $120 for hosting, $10 for domain name registration ), I suggest you start first with a blog on Google's free Blogger environment ( the blogspot blogs )

Sridhar is right. After all, a domain name and decent hosting cost very little nowadays and if you are serious about your online business you should be ready, willing and able to spend some money. You may use free hosting side by side as part of your overall marketing strategy.
