When I buy food at the store, no, I don't know where it comes from. We bought a juice product which was distributed by an American Company. Got home and I happen to see in faint letters on the bottle, not the label, "product of China". I feel that this is deceitful. Will NEVER buy from them again. We now try and get our food local. Get to know your local Farmers Market vendors.

Nowadays, it is better not to know where our food comes from or how it was made. The new bio-genetic technologies, the next-to-natural color, taste and look are the result of chemical processing. If I started researching, I would surely end up answering the question here about hepatitis cure.

I always try to know from where my food comes. In this age cut throat competition and blind self-interest it is our sacred duty to verify whether our food is fresh, un-adulterated an non-contaminated.

I care very much where my food comes from,. In the grocery store these days most of it comes from Mexico and Canada. That bothers me. America needs to be number one in farming fruits and veggies.

actully we dont really where our food stuffs is coming from but we bodies that regulate food related products and if it raw food material from market we need to check appearance and do sorting, even look at the handling of the person selling it. then when we get home wwe do our own preparation before cooking or eating it. Actually cooking kills atleast 95-98% of micro organism that may present if not all of them. for package food products check for MFD/BB/Best use, nutritional content, regulatory

the food comes from the farmers who cultivate them, and i care very much about whether the food is healty, and sometimes i am very worry about the problem that nowadays lots of food are grown with addictives. Maybe they are harmful to our human beings. And i think our government should pay more attention to the food safety.

I think about this alot, because I was raised on a farm. Things were so different then, and there is such a need to produce more now days.

I have a sincere concern about where my food comes from. I also have a concern about what the animals are fed whenever I make a meat purchase. That is why we should always pray over our food before we eat it.

I always concern about the food product i bought. The first thing to check is the nutrition facts and the second one is the ingredients. Next is the manufacturer. But most of the time, i'll put less attention on where do the foods come from.

Hi there,
I was living in Canada - Spain - Switzerland.
The best knowledge is in Switzerland. You knew the product from who comes-what are the components-is it BIO certificated-what additives has...and so long.
With so many conservation we must avoid using them.
I buy only fresh food and I make myself my "conserve" ...fresh salads, meet, cheese.
If you want more details/Info just contact me .
Regards, Chris

Food comes from farmer who cultivate them, but the way it is cultivated with pesticide and chemical fertilizer it is too much harmful to all.

Do I know from where the food is coming? Not exactly. There might be some indication as grown up in xxxxx and processed and packaged in yyyyyy. Not to talk of the chemicals which are used to create 'good looking' but 'less tasty' fruits and vegetables.
We poison our body with the food on the one side and on the side we need supplements to help the body to restore/maintain his self-healing power.

Most of us navigate the grocery store thinking an apple is an apple and an egg is an egg is an egg. And if there is a super sale on ribs, we usually think, “Lucky us, let's have a barbecue!.” We often don't stop to consider where the apple was grown and how. Was the hen caged or free roaming?

Food and water issues have been for a long time on the table. Everybody knows that our foods and waters are intentionally poisoned but no-one seems to care about it ... We slowly but surely pay the price for it. All we can do is what the great Mahatma Ghandi did. He set the stage for a great change. We just have to follow in his footsteps.
