Christmas ...........................?

Christmas 2022. My first day out of the house since the start of Covid Jan 2020. I spent moments with my wife and daughter; you know, those moments when they were available between bargain shopping trips. Worst: Cold Eggs Benedict for breakfast, demonstration of a popular establishment self-destruction due to lack of on-site supervision, and the lack of training of temporary workers. Best: A great and rare evening with wife and daughter and new wifes' friends. Time to reminder those in pain and

Christmas is a time to reflect on the things that matter and the meaning of the celebration. It's not the perfect day, it's not the perfect holiday.
It is, however the meaning behind the celebration that makes me happy.
My immediate family spends time in worship first thing in the morning, then we gather as family at my parents home to remind one another of the beauty of this celebration. We pray as family, then share a meal in remembrance of the Savior of the world.

Christmas is always with family and love ones celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ regardless of Christian denomination.

I agree with David Morgan.It has gotten commercial instead of understanding the real spiritual force in it.
