I can say without hesitation that if you live in the United States or Canada, it is brain-dead simple to make SOME money online. The problem arises when you try to get the whole elephant in your mouth at one time instead of trying to eat it one small bite at a time.
There are some programmes and businesses that seem to be easy to earn money - only when you join, you see that people are not telling the whole truth and a lot of them just try to collest e-mail addresses.
I have joined a few so called "serious" programmes thinking that I'll make some money out of them. Just as it seems, I have come to earn something, they crash, owners disappear and so on.

From experience, the way to make money online is by sharing information products, reason being is that information is what people are looking for, what they need and want, plus they are prepared to pay for it, because it solves their problems.

While it's not that easy, it's not that difficult either. To start with, select a niche and promote products from that niche as an affiliate. Then create your own products and recruit affiliates and JV partners to promote and sell your products on commission. Surefire recipe for success. I know because I've done it.
