I'd suggest using a shampoo that does not contain sulfates/ SLS (do a search to find all the big, long names for sulfates used in ingredients lists). Also, don't shampoo every day. The less oil you have on your hair, the more frizzy your hair is going to be. Sulfates and frequent washing strips out the natural oils from your hair.
ETA: I use Nature's Gate shampoo, currently the "Biotin Strengthening" one.
