Why choose Mobile Health Screening?
MHSU
(Mobile Health and Screening Unit) for Susceptible Migrants and Other Firm-to-Reach
Groups. It is the mission of the MHSU to assess migrants in need of assistance
and other underserved populations for health problems. The team of the NHS was
incredibly generous and offered us the Unit they use.
Primary care is needed
In addition
to reducing the spread of infectious diseases, the MHSU helps identify and
treat other health problems, increasing the scope of the current healthcare
system. As part of the Irish Refugee Protection Programme, it initially offers Mobile Health Screening
and Primary Care services to newcomers to Ireland. In addition, it offers these
services to people who have difficulty getting them through the primary
healthcare system in their nation.
When
underserved communities require urgent screening or health assessments through Mobile
Vaccination Units, the MHSU is there to help. Some examples of at-risk
migrants are the Roma, those seeking asylum, the destitute Irish Travellers, and
those who use illicit drugs.
Medical
experts like physicians, nurses, radiographers, and interpreters staff operate
in collaboration with HSE Social Inclusion. Their goal is to improve the
availability of health care, identify and treat health problems, and reduce the
spread of infectious diseases. The service, delivered from a huge vehicle
configured as a mobile medical clinic, goes to different sites and works with
established service providers in each area to help integrate service users into
local resources. A portable X-ray and consultation room are part of the medical
clinic on wheels.
What can we do for you, if anything?
Our Mobile Unit's screening crew will work closely
with you to ensure the visit goes smoothly.
We have
Occupational Health technicians or Occupational Health Nurses on site that are
highly trained and knowledgeable in their field, and we have access to
Occupational Health Physicians as needed. The services Occupational Health
Nurses are also available to help out when required.
We've
worked with companies of all sizes, and they've all found our streamlined,
low-cost screening process invaluable.
We'll have
a logistics associate deliver the Unit to your chosen site, set it up on a
level surface, and lock it up before the medical professionals begin using it.
When placed, it stays put until it's time to be moved.
We would
drop off the equipment at the site the day before the service began and then
pick it back up the day after the service was over.
We have a
fully functional, transportable medical screening unit that can perform
complete health examinations anywhere. Hydraulic
Leveling Systems are part of this setup, and it guarantees that patients'
hearing is tested in compliance with regulatory requirements. It is excellent
if you do not have on-site rooms that are suited for the screening and can be
hauled into your site to spare your workers time away from their jobs.
