Elastic Couplings are used in many industries, from heavy duty earth moving to intricate instrumentation. Elastic couplings are still one of the most effective ways to transfer energy from one rotating shaft to another. They provide the necessary flexibility when transferring rotational motion into linear motion. However, many times there is a better solution that will save money and/or space.
