Radiation Oncology

This Radiation Oncology department at FMRI has the following modern equipment; - MR Linac The 6-Slice CT Simulator The 02 Linear Accelerator (Linac) Systems (Elekta) The particular treatments that can be offered by this department include; IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, Stereotactic Radiotherapy and Brachytherapy.

Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear medicine has in FMRI employed Digital PET CT Scan, Time of Flight PET CT Scan, SPECT CT Scan, High Dose Nuclear Medicine Therapy for accurate diagnosis and efficient treatment.

Surgical Oncology

Surgical Oncology –The department has acquired the state of art equipment in motorized surgical technology called the Da Vinci Robotic System that has boosted the surgery dexterity and patients’ success rate. Other advanced technology used include endoscopy 3D And 4D vision, Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy, Gamma probe and sentinel node biopsy.

Gastro Sciences 

The Gastro Sciences department is furnished with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools such as Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Capsule Endoscopy, Endoscope towers, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Fibroscan, and Spiral Enteroscopy, Capsule Endoscope, Manometry, Third Space Endoscopy  

Neurosciences 

FMRI’s Neurosciences department employs cutting-edge tools for brain and spine surgeries, including Neuronavigation, minimally invasive surgery techniques, and precise skull base surgeries. The department also uses the Kinevo Microscope for dye differentiation, near-total resection, and exoscope-assisted surgeries. Additionally, the FD 20 lab for advanced neuro interventions. 

Cardiac Sciences 

In Cardiac Sciences, FMRI is equipped with advanced technologies such as Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), four Advanced Portable Cardio Help Plus models for retrieval, transportation, and in-house initiation, two Flat Panel Cath labs, and two Electrophysiology (EP) Systems (2D & 3D) integrated with Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Online Stent Boost Therapy, and Rotablator. 

Orthopedics 

The Orthopedics department employs advanced Computer Navigation Systems Mako 9 for precise alignment, precision, and soft tissue balancing, as well as Arthroscopy towers. 

Pulmonology 

FMRI’s Pulmonology department features Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), Radial EBUS for diagnostic FNACs and biopsies, Cryo Biopsy, Interventional Bronchoscopy, Thoracoscopy – flexible and Rigid, Airway stenting, Endobronchial Debulking, Bronchoscopic Electrocautery, Endoscopic Argon Plasma Coagulation, FeNo, FOT, Impulse Oscillometry.  

Urology 

The Urology department is equipped with a 100-watt Holmium Laser and Flexible Ureteroscope, facilitating advanced urological procedures. 

Ophthalmology 

The Ophthalmology department features advanced technology including a Lasik Machine, cataract machine, and the Constellation system for retina work. 

Radiology 

The Radiology department boasts 3T and 1.5T MRI machines for Perfusion Studies, Spectroscopy, and Tractography, as well as a 256-Slice CT scanner for multiple cross-sectional studies. The department also excels in Interventional Radiology, offering procedures such as Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE), Transarterial Radioembolization (TARE), Vascular Embolization, Tumor Ablation, and Stenting. 

Emergency Services 

FMRI’s Emergency Department is equipped 25 beds and is laid out as per the JCI guidelines with well-defined triaging areas. All attached ambulances are fully equipped with ACLS features, Transport Ventilators, and Point of Care devices to provide immediate and effective emergency care.
