What Not To Do on Vegan Cruises
Taking time off is necessary. One of the best ways to take your mind off things while seeing a long list of the world’s greatest sights is by going onboard a cruise. For vegans, an all-vegan cruise sounds like a complete vacation, as they can go without constantly googling vegan and vegetarian recipes as the cruise’s menu is a whole strip of vegan options.
The only catch of going on a cruise is sharing the trip with at least one hundred other people, which can include large families, couples, and other people traveling solo. Other people want to enjoy the trip as much as you do, so keep these habits in mind and avoid them when you go on board a vegan cruise.

DON’T litter in the water
Everyone hates a litterer. Throwing garbage in the river may only take a moment for you, but it will irreversibly damage the ecosystem. The planet relies on you; it’s your responsibility to take care of it.
Be responsible, and dispose of your garbage in the appropriate bins on the ship. The river’s not going to swallow that!
DON’T be late
If you’re flying in from a different place, you might want to make sure you fly in a day or two earlier. Even if you arrive on time in the cruise’s place of departure, you can avoid extra delays in the airport if you come in at least a day before.
Cruises aren’t very lenient with passengers with delayed flights. If it’s time to hit the road (or the river), it will be time to go.
DON’T superimpose preferences
When you’re aboard a vegan cruise, the time you spend thinking about what food to eat next gets cut short until the next destination. That gives you extra time to relax and enjoy the ship whichever way you prefer.
But you’re not the only vegan on board, and there’s a lot of you, while some may even be vegetarian. It’s important not to impose your vegan beliefs on other guests. Everyone’s just trying to have a good time.
DON’T skip emergency drills
The muster drill is obligatory for cruise ships, and for a good reason. Passengers are oriented on what to do during an emergency, such as which lifeboat they are assigned to.
Don’t attempt to skip attendance as cruise ships have the authority to throw passengers who don’t show up off the cruise. It’s a one-time drill, so after that, you can have the rest of the time to yourself.

Avoiding these steps are necessary to keep your cruise adventure fun and exciting. Remember, your negative actions don’t just reflect badly on you, they may reflect badly on other passengers as well. So keep away from these habits, and enjoy your journey on vegan river cruises.
