The Swedish SUV has an original exterior that sets it apart from its competitors. In the market, its main opponents are Mercedes-Benz ML, BMW X5, Audi Q7. To create competition to the German trio, the Swedes have worked hard. As a result, the car appeared on an updated platform, with an elegant design, effective suspension, stuffed with electronics.

Volvo S90

Volvo S90The car is presented in 2016. It is a car with an interior decorated in Scandinavian minimalism. The cabin has comfortable seats and plenty of air, which makes even very long trips unburdening. The ventilation system is well thought out, which keeps the air clean and fights unpleasant odors. The car is equipped with active and passive safety systems that prevent accidents and reduce the number of negative consequences in collisions.

The exterior easily recognizes the style of the brand. The car is powered by a 2-liter gasoline or diesel engine with an output of up to 249 hp. The car is equipped with independent spring suspension and disc brakes, which provides good control over the car and shortens the braking distance, which increases safety. High ground clearance and soft suspension make driving the car comfortable on any roads.

Volvo V60

Volvo V60All-terrain station wagon with all-wheel drive, which attracts attention with spectacular optics, large radiator grille and relief bumper. The rear part impresses with shaped lights, a massive spoiler and two exhaust pipes.

The interior offers premium trim materials and enhanced comfort. Among the advantages of the interior: elegant design, high quality of assembly and ergonomics, comfortable seats, plenty of free space. For practical owners, the manufacturer offers a trunk with a volume from 529 to 1441 liters.

As a power plant can be used 254-liter gasoline engine or diesel motor with an output of 190 hp. The gearbox is installed only automatic. In the mixed cycle, the car consumes about 7.6 liters of gasoline and can accelerate up to 230 km/h.

Volvo XC60

Volvo XC60

A mid-size crossover, sales of which started in 2017. The car is equipped with gasoline and diesel engines with a volume of 2 liters. The powertrain power depends on the configuration and varies from 190 to 320 hp. Also in the lineup there is a hybrid version with a battery of 9.2 kWh. The car has an original design that makes it stand out in the general flow. The headlamp has a T-shape and is fully LED. The radiator grille protrudes forward and makes the exterior aggressive, with a hard-to-hide touch of nobility.

The crash test results confirm that the Volvo XC60 is an extremely reliable car.

Volvo S60

Volvo S60

A sports sedan with three driving modes, allowing you to quickly adapt the vehicle to your own style. The driver can not only choose the appropriate style, but also create his or her own. The powertrain and comfortable interior fill any trip with drive and allow you to enjoy every moment of it.

Switches on the center console allow you to very precisely adjust the driving modes according to the driver's preferences and thus achieve optimal fuel consumption, acceleration, and comfort.

The availability of an advanced set of assistants and all-wheel drive provide full control over the car, regardless of external conditions: rain, sun, snow.

Saab 9-3

Saab 9-3

A medium-sized passenger car from a Swedish company, which was produced in 1998. The instrument panel in this model seems to surround the driver, which is very similar to the pilot's seat in an airplane. Control elements and their location are carefully thought out. There is a large amount of electrical equipment in the cabin, including climate control, audio system, electric package, etc. According to the conducted crash tests, the safety of the model corresponds to the highest level.

The powertrain range for the Saab 9-3 1st generation includes 2-liter gasoline and 2.3-liter diesel engines. Responsive and unusually crisp steering gives the impression of an easy ride, regardless of road conditions. The first generation of this car was discontinued in 2002.

Koenigsegg Jesko

Koenigsegg JeskoThis car is modestly called "megacar" by the company. It replaced the Agera RS and Regera models. The car is equipped with a five-liter biturbo V8 engine, which now has a new "flat" crankshaft. The turbochargers are supplemented with an air receiver and an electric compressor, which completely eliminates turbo lag. On 95 gasoline, the engine generates 1,280 hp, and if E86 biofuel is used, it rises to 1,600 hp.

The transmission deserves no less attention. It is a 9-speed unit with six clutches, which switches speeds with unprecedented speed and without intermediate shifts. And one more peculiarity - if you push the paddle to the end, the electronics independently chooses the stage, which is most suitable for acceleration.

Scania R-Series

This is a series of trucks, which are designed for transportation of heavy loads over long distances. The first generation of the truck was released in 2004, and a year later it was recognized as the car of the year. In 2009, the company released a new, already the second generation of the machine. This series replaced the equally popular in its time Scania 4 range. Externally, there are virtually no differences between these models, but the driving characteristics and engine performance have been significantly improved.

The interior has undergone strong changes. Comfortable seats, smooth forms, rich on-board equipment, a large number of functional elements - all this has significantly increased the overall comfort in the car. The standard equipment includes an electric package, audio system, climate control, cruise control, on-board computer.

Volvo XC40

Volvo XC40

A mild hybrid that stores energy that is generated during braking. This significantly reduces fuel consumption and emissions. The car is characterized by smooth running and acceleration, which makes any trip comfortable.

The car is assembled on the P2 platform, which is widely used in the models of this manufacturer. It is characterized by an expressive design with clear lines of the body, with an emphasis on the radiator grille, which makes the exterior brutal and well recognizable. There are 5 seats in the cabin, which is enough for an average family.

Child seats can be installed on the rear seats, and belts and cushions are responsible for the safety of adult passengers. The 479-liter trunk and roof rails allow you to carry large loads. In the cabin there is a storage system, which allows you to place all the necessary small things at hand.

Polestar 2

Polestar 2

A five-door fastback from Volvo that is packed with innovation. The fastback body provides a lower drag coefficient and makes the car's aerodynamics almost perfect. All exterior elements, such as the frameless side mirrors, have been designed for the same purpose.

An interesting solution is the adaptive taillights, the brightness of which changes when braking. Another unusual element in the exterior is the projection of the model's logo, which is displayed on the panoramic roof. The latter is made of laminated laminated glass.

The glazing occupies a significant area of the body, which creates the effect of a large volume. The interior has enough free space, so it will be comfortable for people of all sizes.

Conclusion

These are the brightest representatives of the Swedish car industry, many of which are also represented on the secondary market. Before buying, do not forget to check the car from Sweden with VIN-code. This is the easiest and most effective way to find out the history of the car.
