Learning music and learning how to sing, these are two different things. One can gain expertise in this craft via undergoing music degree courses at one of the finest education centers across India. We can learn music for a long time, but if we do not know how to achieve a good tone and texture in our voice, our singing will not be very much effective. Effective singing needs not just practice, but proper technique and exercises. In western music, so many factors are defined in order to practice with a good technique. In Indian music, two main factors affect the quality of singing.

Aspirants can enroll them at one of the best music schools in India for gaining quality education in this craft. These are regular practice (Riyaz) and Yoga. When we are singing, our whole body gets involved, not just our vocal chords. Riyaz doesn't just includes regular practice, but we have to work on the stability on the root note (Sa) first, Then we move towards the lower notes by taking the strength of the stomach, so that our voice won't get cracked while singing low notes. Then we move forward towards the other notes, then head notes, trying to work on the vocals to achieve stability, clarity, less shivery voice, strong hold on the notes as well, ear training. When we talk about the role of yoga in Voice training, it is because singing requires a lot of strength, especially in lungs.

One can undergo programs such as music diploma courses, etc. to perform outstandingly and grab a better opportunity in this domain. This helps them to reach the peak of success through portraying talent while being interviewed by the emerging and established employers.

A good Singer must be physically strong, as it requires a lot strength and in order to make our voice stable, our lungs must be strong. Therefore, the most recommended yoga for singers is Pranayam. Pranayam helps relieving lungs, make them flexible so that they can collect more oxygen and helps relieving breathing issues, which also helps building a strong immune system so that we do not have to face the throat problems. These two factors help us achieve a good singing voice. There are so many other factors as well, like dynamics, etc. However, these two are just basic needs to achieve an effective vocal texture.
