The Jeep Wrangler Dragon is a 4x4 based on the radical Rubicon, which has been unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show. Adapted to the tastes of the Asian country, it is decorated with dragon vinyls on its sides.

The new Jeep Wrangler Dragon is one of the firsts at the Beijing Auto Show. Created to celebrate the Chinese 'Year of the Dragon', the Wrangler Dragon Concept is the brand's first model made specifically with elements and characteristics representative of Chinese culture. In addition, it anticipates the possibility that specific editions for this market will appear in the future.

Based on the Wrangler Rubicon, the Jeep Wrangler Dragon is completely black and features numerous exterior trim in gold, a shade typically associated with the dragon. These details are present in the lower part of the grille, the headlights, the logo (front and rear), the engine cover and the set of the taillights.

The dragon motif is present on the carbon fiber insulating cover under the hood and on the spare wheel cover in gloss black. The dragon insignia also appears in the center of the wheels and on the sides of the vehicle.

Other unique features of the Jeep Wrangler Dragon are its unique 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, in matte black with gold and bronze glitter accents. The exterior features black accents such as the painted wheel arches, the front bumper with glossy black accents, and a decal depicting the dragon that begins on the hood and runs along the driver's side. Other exterior details include the Mopar fuel tank cap and an LED lighting package that includes the headlamps, fog lights, jeep jl sport sequential turn signals and taillights, finished in black.

The interior of the Jeep Wrangler Dragon Concept is also black with small details in bronze and gold. The seats are upholstered in black leather with bronze and gold stitching and trims, and the sides and headrests are covered with a special “Magic Wand” leather with a metallic effect. The dragon logo is laser engraved on the front of the headrest. The side profile of the seats is upholstered in leather worked with gold and bronze, which resembles the texture of the dragon's skin. Both the side of the doors and the instrument panel and steering wheel are also made in glossy black and gold. Lastly, the front and rear floor mats are imprinted with the dragon logo.

Under the hood of the Wrangler Dragon Concept is the new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 284 hp. It also incorporates a five-speed automatic transmission.

Although its debut at the Beijing Motor Show was as a concept car, the Jeep Wrangler Dragon could become a mass-production model if demand is high enough.
