With so many people refusing to recognize bisexuality as legitimate and forming negative stereotypes against them, bi really has to have a strong sense of self.

It’s great that bisexuality is getting more visibility and more people feel comfortable. However, there are still a huge amount of misconceptions, irritating questions and offensives phrases that come up in conversations. Some people do ‘experiment’ for a short while. But when someone has spent their whole life since puberty knowing they’re attracted to both genders, it’s probably not a phase.

Bisexuality doesn’t always mean being attracted to only two genders. Why do you think that someone will be interested in spicing up your life, just because they are bi? However, believe that nobody has the right to dictate to you who you are or who you should be with, whether that’s the same gender or not. As long as you are happy and that your partner makes you happy then that’s all that matters.

Bisexual, it's not just a phase. Because speaking out about your bisexuality has not been easy. Until the day that I have a relationship with a woman and want to introduce her to everyone I know. But I don’t see that happening. Invisibility is a big problem for people who are bisexual because they often have no need to mention it. People would notice if the person was gay, but being bi is not so obvious, and that's why we should talk about it.
