Experience New Look of iPhone 8 with Curved OLED Screens
iPhone 8 is coming, and various rumors and news about this
new iPhone are regularly reported. Now, with a report, it is supposed that
iPhone 8 would come with curved OLED screen. In old devices, iPhone was using
LCD panels, but now it seems that iPhone8 will come with curved OLED screens,
and it is true, then the uniqueness of Samsung phones, such as Galaxy S8 will
be reduced.
Korean Herald Report:
According to the report of Korea Herald, it shows that Apple
purchased 60 million OLED display panels in a multibillion-dollar deal from
Samsung Display.
It is also reported that last April, Apple bought 100
million OLED panels. These two deals of 160 million OLED display panels may
show that Samsung may end up being the primary supplier for iPhone 8 displays.
The uniqueness of Samsung:
The unique feature of high-end Samsung phones is the curved
screen, for example, the now-defunct Note 7 and Galaxy S7 Edge with extra support for content transfer and more. This gives a
unique appearance to the Samsung phones, but it is shown that the Apple is now
becoming a curved-screen client so that Samsung phones won't have that edge.
10th Anniversary Big Plans:
The Apple has big plans for its 10th anniversary iPhone
which is going to release later this year. One part of this big plan and
variation is swapping out the LCD panels of iPhone with the new display of
curved OLED screens.
iPhone 8 also offer excellent content transfer app for the
user's convenience to transfer files, data, and pictures quickly.
Cost:
Different rumors show that the cost of iPhone 8 would be
over $1,000, £798 and AU$1,308.
