Encryption Space Mining has taken a major step forward by signing a contract with WhatsMiner. The contract involves the purchase of 20,000 ASIC Mining (100 TH/s) mining rigs at a cost of $87 million.

Expected to be delivered between October and December 2023, Encryption Space Mining will strengthen its mining operations with these additional equipment. Once all 20,000 units are received, the company’s mining fleet will consist of more than 133,000 Bitcoin miners, generating an impressive 12.3 EH/s of computing power when fully deployed and operational.

Encryption Space Mining CEO Aroosh Needles expressed enthusiasm for the potential impact of these new machines, particularly in the Indian energy sector. He stressed the importance of affordable electricity in remote areas and highlighted the potential benefits these mining operations could bring to these areas.
