Eco Friendly Cleaning Tools

When it comes to ecologically friendly cleaning products, most of us are pretty excellent. We read the labels and strive to avoid using toxins-containing items. But how many of us utilise environmentally friendly cleaning supplies? Here are eleven environmentally friendly cleaning items you may use right away.

1.Microfiber Cloths

I began using these a few months ago, and my husband washes our cars with them. They're densely woven, super-absorbent fabrics. They can be washed and reused multiple times. They are available in a variety of textures and hues. If you do wash them in the machine, don't use a dryer sheet or fabric softener because this will make them less absorbent.

2.Cloths made of cellulose

Paper towels can be replaced with cellulose cloths. These towels are manufactured from specially processed recycled newspapers.

3. Scrub Brushes Made of Bamboo

I'm sure you've never heard of them. Bamboo is an excellent choice for a natural material because it grows so quickly. Scrub brushes made of bamboo are water-resistant and feature plant-based bristles on many of them

4. Mopping

Remove your old mop and replace it with a steam mop. These eco-friendly mops clean deeply by using steam rather of chemicals. Hardwood floor steam cleaning mops are also available. A mop with a bamboo handle and a microfiber head is also an excellent option.

5. Brooms

Have you ever seen a bamboo-handled broom? These brooms are extremely long-lasting and reusable. Plant-based fibres or recycled plastic bristles are used in some of these brooms. Brooms constructed from corn fibres are also available.

6. Buckets

Choose buckets manufactured from recycled aluminium or recycled plastic bottles when shopping for environmentally friendly buckets.

7. Scrubbers for Mold

The first thing we think of when removing mould and mildew in the bathroom is bleach or a harsh chemical. To get rid of these difficult stains, use cleaning blocks made of woven nylon.

8. Light Wands for Sanitation

A sanitising light wand is something you've probably never heard of before. These wands eliminate microorganisms by emitting UV light. You may use them on everything in your home and in every room, and you can even take them with you when you travel. You won't need to use the harsh chemicals ever again.

9. Squeegees

This is a fantastic cleaning device. Every morning, I use one in my shower. Squeegeeing the tile or plastic surface of the shower removes the water that causes the majority of mould and mildew issues in your bathroom. If you use a squeegee to remove the water, you can clean with just water. Try this: my shower never has mould or mildew.

10. Biodegradable Plastic Bags

If you must use plastic bags for trash, choose biodegradable bags. As a result, when you throw them away, they won't take up as much space in the trash.

11. Laundry Tree or Laundry Umbrella

Invest in a laundry umbrella or laundry tree instead of putting everything in the dryer. It's a lot more compact than hanging clothing out to dry, and you'll save a lot of money on garments that don't need to be dried in the dryer.
