Dubai Visa Cancellation Process
If you are willing to cancel your UAE visa, then it's good to know how the process works. The visa cancellation procedure basically depends on the type of visa you hold. For instance, to cancel your residence visa or your employment visa, you will need your sponsor to do it on your behalf. They can either visit the offices of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) or its official website or complete the task at the website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship. To cancel an employment visa, the sponsor or employer must first cancel the labor card and then proceed to the Dubai visa cancellation process.
How to cancel UAE Residence Visa
Cancelling your residence visa in the UAE is possible through two methods: via a registered typing centre or online.
Registered Typing Centers
If you opt for this route, your sponsor can visit any typing office registered by ICP in the emirate. The typing office will handle the cancellation form on your behalf and process it online through ICP.
Online
Alternatively, the sponsor can process the cancellation online through the ICP website or the ICP application available on Google Play or the App Store.
