Everybody knows how daunting it is to experience ringing sounds in the ear despite any outside source. Hissing, humming, roaring, or whistling, be it any sound, experiencing them frequently annoys people and even impedes their daily life. Hence, professionals experimented for years on different minerals and ingredients to check which natural dietary supplements are effective in giving relief to patients having tinnitus. As a result, they invented a formula that contained three primitive yet main ingredients, pharmaceutical-grade ginkgo biloba extract, zinc picolinate, and deodorized garlic. This tinnitus formula offered a suite of natural herbs and vitamin supplements to rid people of hearing problems. Through numerous studies, it has been found that these supplements are indeed helpful in reducing tinnitus.

Here’s what the studies have demonstrated.

Ginkgo Biloba Extract

GBE contains flavonoids, lactones, and bilobalide that produce a multitude of vascular and neurological effects that are sometimes directly connected to the underlying causes of tinnitus. It is a beneficial component because of its glutamate antagonism and neuroprotection, antioxidant properties, and ability to increase circulation. Some renowned commissions state that to be a standardized extract, the formula must contain GBE in the amount of at least 2.6%. But due to adulteration, finding the differences between an effective and ineffective formula becomes impossible without advanced diagnostics.

Zinc Picolinate

Some nutritionists believe that a lack of zinc in your diet adversely affects the immune system, which is one of many underlying causes of tinnitus. According to a study published in the journal of otology and neurotology, patients who consumed 50mg of zinc supplement for 3 months showed up to 45% of improvement, even when they weren’t zinc-deficient, because of the antioxidant properties of zinc. So, why zinc picolinate and not zinc oxide? Where only 35% of the oxide form is absorbed by a human body, around 90% absorption rate has been found in the case of picolinate.

Deodorized Garlic

Garlic improves blood circulation, reduces plaque buildup on the walls of blood vessels, minimizes hardening of the arteries, and lowers fat levels in the blood. Hence, it essentially reduces the plaque from the cochlear artery and improves blood flow to the inner ear. Moreover, it improves the antioxidant properties of the blood and strengthens the circulatory mechanism in the ear.

So, these are some clinically proven evidence of how different ingredients of a tinnitus formula help improve ear noise disorder. Since there isn’t a single magic pill for hearing aid, a synergy of multiple ingredients is utilized to prepare a remedial formula. Whether used at once or sequentially, each ingredient has shown significant results in relieving the symptoms of tinnitus in many patients.
