The Land Transport Authority (LTA) had earlier announced the mandatory LTA e-scooter theory test in Singapore for Singaporeans who have reached the age of 16 and are e-scooter or Power-Assisted Bicycle (PAB) riders. Before riders take to the roads, they must pass the short test consisting of multiple-choice questions. Riders must follow the new safety rules and the code of conduct. The test will further help them to share spaces safety and responsibly with fellow path and road users.

You can register for the test conveniently at SP PACE Academy. To guide riders, PACE Academy provides e-handbooks containing information on traffic safety rules maintenance of devices, appropriate safety gear and attire, and tips to follow during emergencies.

Upon completing the test, riders will be awarded a digital certificate without any expiry date.
