Charles is one of the authentic shops which are famous for its

is a family owned French lighting company still in operation. Originally this Charles was established in
the year 1908 by Ernest Charles at former Ullman bronze works and the company
was located at 103 Rue de Turenne in Paris as well. This maison specialized in reproduction of
the antique lighting and gained a significant reputation in the field, bronze
casting.
In the
year 1923 this company was taken over by Emile Albert Charles. Maison Charles is one of France's
greatest bronze casting and lighting companies. It is the third design house
the only company still under processing .It is one of the best company and is
known for its bronze and gilt lamps specially inspired by nature, for authentic
furniture’s, lighting ,specially nature inspired designs like the pineapple and
the corn stalk.
In
1930s, the Maison
Charles was known as Charles Freres. In late 1950s, Ernest's grandsons
Jeans and Jacques joined the family business as per tradition and Jacques
designed the iconic inox collection which included the Organ Lamp in the year
1965. Designers, the family members, also the long term artistic designers and
president Chrystianne Charles have many signed works that are collected by the
dealers. The company now focuses on made to order and their lamps from mid-20th
century.

decoration company which was founded in the year 1880 by Dutch-born Jean-Henri
Jansen. Maison Jansen this company
is considered as the first truly

America, and the Middle East and all. Originally this House is situated at 23,

drawing based on European design. But influence of the contemporary styling

industry on its own.
