Lookii: A new project by APSense: Achieve any goal through crowdsourcing on Lookii. Create a project for anything you want to accomplish, gain supporters, achieve any goal!

Crowdsourcing sounds very complicated; since English is not my native language it confused me a bit. The most simply way I can explain is: use to power of the crowd by outsourcing tasks to achieve a certain goal. And to achieve it much faster.

This goal can be anything (as long as it is legal of course) and it does not need to be a business goal necessarily. It can be also a way to find a missing piece of a collection, to support a good cause or simply to find people with the same interest.

If is also interesting site to join if you currently do not have a project or mission you want to post; you can get rewards for supporting projects and even money for doing tasks. Some tasks are little and easy, there are some more complicated.

Lookii for business

Of course there are many ways to use Lookii for business and outsourcing tasks related to business. Like getting content for a ebook, reviews of all kinds or feedback on a certain service or product. Or building membership.

Are there costs involved? Yes, but only for activating missions. There is a small fee for set up. Additional costs for seats (number of people that can participate in the mission) are set by you. The minimum fee is $0.50, the maximum $500.
Joining and supporting missions is free and can actually earn you some cash.

Many people will do simple tasks for 50 cents though, liking a page, write a short comment, join a free program, etc. The value you get is really worthwhile since active missions are shown on main APSense i.e. on article pages.

Since the launch there have been a few changes. Only active missions are visible now. To activate you need to pay the fee and the seats.
Some more things to consider:

  • If you want to start a mission you need to be very specific on what you want people to do and how you want them to send in their submission.
  • Submissions need to be approved by the project owners. So you need to log in at least one time a day to see if you need to check and approve submissions. You have the option to approve in case they are paid and/or get an extra reward if applicable, or decline if the failed to do the mission correctly.

Want to make some money completing missions?

It is not difficult. But READ what is required to do.

You are so right Paula. There's nothing like having a go to find out how things work. The results from 2 simple little missions have given me plenty of ideas to work on.

Thanks Phillip. I am sure your vids will help members. This piece was more about the purpose of Lookii than a manual. Most things on how to do it can be found out by trying
