What Have You Been Doing With 2011?
Those 365 days are collectively called 2011. We are already into the tenth day and some people do not yet know that they were given those days.
while some people are still busy planning what to do with those days, others are already doing something that will yield fruits during the year and beyond. What have you been doing with 2011?
Whatever you decide to do with and in 2011, I wish you success. However, remember that if you do not make haste and start working hard and smart, 2011 will evaporate in your hands the way that 2010 did. God forbid!
You have been writing good articles and revpages with positive comments, should you not consider writing articles as a freelancer to make money online? Think about it this year.
Whatever you decide to engage yourself in, by December 31st 2011, the year will be gone and there is nothing you can do about it.
Therefore, do something now with the year while you still have the opportunity.

bronnamdi,
Very interesting and provocative article. We had the same measure of time a year ago and on January 1st, 2011 many of us swear that 2011 would be different (meaning Better than the past year); we perhaps wrote down, and/or memorized our resolutions. But now 2011 is one month and one week into the new year. My observation: It takes more than writing resolutions and having a wish list of the things we wish to accomplish. One of the main things we need to do in this new year (if we hav

We can as well revisit the issue of what we have been doing with our selves this 2011.
Have you met your targets for January 2011?
What are you doing to meet your overall objective in 2011?
Just making you to think again.

@Silver Teede What you have written above is just thinking aloud. A plan should have a timeline for its accomplishment.
Consider; I will get my SEO certificate done by 31st January, 2011 and I will set up my first niche websites on February 10, 2011 and blogs on February 15, 2011.
Plans should be S-M-A-R-T.

@Corey I agree with your system. A measurable plan which can be broken down is easy to evaluate. You already know where you want to be at any point in time. When you are not there, you adapt in order to still meet your ultimate goal. This is a very good way to plan. Beats mine.

@Nnamdi, yes it works well for me - for example if I would like to be making $120k per year, then that means in June I should be at the $60k stage - meaning I was accomplishing about $10k per month,
and on target. The reason I do it the way that I do it is so it is adaptable as well sometimes you come out of the gate slow in January.

@Darlene I quite agree with you that if we want change, we must do it ourselves by changing what we are doing and also changing the way we do things.
We should focus on ourselves to make the changes we desire.

@Corey One of the benefits of your system is that you have time and opportunity to adjust your plan [not target] when periodic reviews reveal that you have not arrived at the expected milestones.
That way, you keep focus on the final target while adjusting the speed and resources required to get there.
That's a good system, Corey.

This is a very unique approach for the time each of us have to accomplish our life challenges. It is kind, thoughtful and without reproach. If you want things to change you must change what you are doing. This article advocates to that. Thank you Nnamdi.

An old trick that I tend to use for a yearly plan is breaking it down from the end back to the beginning.
I will have an ultimate goal I want to achieve by December 15th (year end), then based on that, I will have to be to a certain place by the end of June in order to accomplish my year end goal.
I will then in turn have to accomplish so much by the end of September and the same goes for the end of March.
It seems to help me to work from the end to the middle to the 3/4 point and back to

@pplcheryl63 It is neat to plan ahead. I only wanted to remind those who still think that 2011 is still new to have a rethink. The year is already 10 days OLD, not new.

Funny you mention this I do indeed know people who are just now planning how to use 2011. I already know what I will be doing with the last few days of 2011 because it is the same thing I did with the last few days of 2010,2009,2008 etc. I'll be evaluating my year and working on my game plan so it's ready to go one 1-1-2012. If you're not planning until January first you are planning late. January first should be you "day of execution" That's the day you start your plan rolling!

@skycom I am hearing this from you; "If you started a home based business treat it like a business and it will treat you like a boss and owner!"
This is a profound statement and I agree wholly with it.
